ALIA IS A WEIGHT LOSS CENTER based in Bulgaria. They organize 10 days programs for small groups. In comfort hotels guests get back with easy to health and active way of living coached by professional instructors.


This is 3rd redesign of the website and second done by us. It was time to renovate the design using latest technology and UX achievements.

The owner has ambition to create online magazine devoted to weight loss problems sharing more information to help and motivate people live health and active life.

It’s not what we do once—it’s what we do once a day…day in and day out…every day that brings lasting change into our lives.

Look and feel of 2nd version of ALIA’a website

the challenge

Preexisting website had long life (8 years) and many of users were returning ones. It is always a challenge find the right balance between new and traditional. We decided to keep as much as possible the structure but remove excess content and make the language clear and UX following the best contemporary practices.

The new editorial part of the website took special care. We wanted to focus user’s attention here because what makes the difference is what you do everyday not once or once in a year.

About eighty percent of the food on shelves of supermarkets today didn’t exist 100 years ago.


Website became fully responsive, modern and made with users’ best interests in mind. Layout of the new website is versatile and allows content of different types and sizes.

In terms of navigation site primary menu has been cleaned and restructured to allow smooth and intuitive navigation.
